Mischa Barton is supposed to be gaining weight right now not losing it! The slim star has been told by producers of her new TV show, “A Beautiful Life,” that she’s too dang thin for prime time. Barton appears committed to keeping the role and yet she still hit the gym the other day.

But this wasn’t just a regular trip to the gym–Mischa Barton went to Reebok and Cirque du Soleil’s new fitness project called “Jukari: Fit To Fly.” According to Reebok, the workout “gives the sensation of flying while strengthening and lengthening the body through cardio, strength, balance and core training.” [Source]

This actually sounds like a lot of fun, which makes me suspicious of its fitness claims. Perhaps Mischa won’t lose any weight after all and she’ll get to keep her job.

Finished up with her opening duties for the Rascal Flatts, Jessica Simpson has turned her attention back to business endeavors outside of the music world.

The “Do You Know” singer stepped out on Saturday (March 21) for the launch of her “Fancy” fragrance at Dillards Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Taking a break from her dancing duties, Holly Madison hosted an evening at Prive nightclub inside Planet Hollywood Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday night (March 21).

The former “Girls Next Door” star teamed up with fellow Playboy beauty Alison Waite, as the two greeted Sin City revelers for a night of drinking and getting down on the dancefloor.

Losing her fight with cancer, British reality TV star Jade Goody has passed away from cervical cancer at the age of 27.

Goody, who shot to fame in 2002 after appearing on the U.K. version of Big Brother, died at her home in Upshire, south east England in the early hours of Sunday (March 22).

Even though I don’t live in England I know that Jade Goody caused quite a stir after her appearance on the UK version of the reality show Big Brother.

Sadly, the poor girl was cursed with cervical cancer and it got the best of her. Jade lost her battle with cancer today, at the age of 27.

Although I cannot provide a link of confirmation, the news has been reported on BBC1.

Jade was struggling so hard to stay on this earth so that she could give her children one last Mother’s Day hug. She made it until this very day, but it with great sadness that she also passed on this day.(Today is Mother’s Day in Britain.)

You know the Greeks didn’t write obituaries, they only asked one question after someone died, ‘Did he/she have passion?’ And yes, I do believe Jade did. Rest in peace, sweet girl.

Judi Dench suffered a sprained ankle after falling outside a London theater Friday.

As Dench left Wyndham theater, where she is starring in the play Madame De Sade, she tripped and fell, injuring her ankle. She was taken to a hospital where she was treated.

She is expected to return to work next week.

Her publicist said, “As Judi Dench was leaving the theater, she tripped at the stage door and fell. She was taken to Accident and Emergency, where she was diagnosed with a severely sprained ankle. Doctors have advised that she bring no weight to bear on her foot for the time being. As a consequence, Judi’s role of Madame de Montreuil will be performed this weekend by her understudy Marjorie Hayward. The Donmar theatre company and Judi apologize for any upset or inconvenience this may cause, and wish to reassure those with tickets that it is her intention to return to the role next week.”

So much for the rumors about M.I.A. naming her baby Ickitt.

Initial reports were that the singer/rapper had named her new baby Ickitt, which denied. She responded to the rumors on her blog saying,

“MY BABY IS NOT CALLED ICKITT, PICKIT OR LICKIT THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL THE HOLLYWOOD PRESS. HES A BABY, HE DONT NEED PRESS! I DIDNT RELEASE THE BABY NAME BECAUSE I DIDNT THINK IT WAS NEWS!!!! BUT I WILL BE BACK WITH SOMETHING NEWS WORTHY SOON , TILL THEN GO PICK ON APPLE, SATCHEL AND MOON UNIT. LOTS OF LOVE STICKIT!!”

Instead, she chose the name Ikhyd. The child’s full name is Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman.

Yeah, we were way off.
